Unit 2 & 3 visual communication

This is the beginning of my Unit 2 & 3 visual copmmunication sketch book. Throughout the sketchbook we learned about totem poles and saw how they all were built and fit together, because our project was based on our very own totem poles made with moulds of toys.

 Then we began to use different effects on our drawing using charcoal and ink & wash and many other methods,

 This picture above, was a picture i took of one of my moulds before it had been painted and glazed. It was a mould that was made for my final peice and  i was really pleased with the way this particular mould turned out.

This page in my sketch book shows  my moulds that we had made as a practise for the final peice, and next to it is instructions and the ways that we had made our own two peice press mould.

This is just one sideof my final peice, this was after it had been glazed and been put into the kiln. My teacher has now put this on display and i am very pleased with it.
